Healthy Snacks – Roasted Spicy Chickpeas
Chickpeas are a great source of fibre, so add these onto soups, or salads, or just eat them as a snack.
- 1 tin of chickpeas
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
Can try other flavours like chilli if you enjoy the spice or smoked paprika.
Turn on oven onto a medium/low heat (140, gas mark 4) Rinse and drain the chickpeas, the mix all the ingredients up in a bowl, then place on greaseproof paper on a tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring once or twice to ensure they are cooking evenly.
