A two day sale over the Easter weekend managed to drive my book back up the Kindle Nutrition charts. I have sold 37 so far this month which is way above previous months at this stage so it definitely worked. 

I liked the idea of more people downloading it, to be honest though I struggle a bit with what feels like giving away my work after all that hard effort to write it. BUT the aim is to get more people aware of the content, and my work, and I think it helps with that.

Today I'm launching a sale on Kindle for 2 days on INSIDE KNOWLEDGE FOR PEOPLE WITH IBS AND SIBO, down to 99p to get sales going again. I've emailed my list about it, and posted it to stories this morning so let's see how that helps the best selling rankings. 

I'm hoping the bank holiday weekend will catch people normally too busy for books!

Sorry if you’ve been told you need to be low FODMA Sorry if you’ve been told you need to be low FODMAP when you have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.Not only is there no evidence to back this up, there is a downside to restricting fibre and food groups in the long term. 

I know you might react to some high FODMAP foods. But honestly it’s unlikely to be ALL of them. And eating a higher fibre diet doesn’t CAUSE the overgrowth. 
You may choose to lower some highly prebiotic foods, such as onions or garlic, in order to help manage your symptoms. This is fine if it’s just a small handful of foods that consistently trigger your symptoms. But you don’t need to avoid all high FODMAP foods just because they are classified this way. 

If you’re curious about how to get off the low FODMAP diet then comment Challenge to get signed up for help this April. SIBO can be a real long time condition, so you don’t want to avoid all these foods for too long.
