Banana Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients – serves 1

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1x avocado
  • Handful of oats
  • Fill up with almond milk

Breakfast bowls are kind of thick smoothies you can have in a bowl topped with fruits and nuts. You’ll need a high powered blender (like Nutri-bullet or similar), but it’s easy to make.
Adding a tablespoon of protein powder like hemp or pea protein will help keep you feeling fuller for longer.  Add your favourite toppings to add colour and texture. This one is topped with chia seeds, other bits of banana and cashew nuts.
